Innovation and access for development initiatives is an independent not for-profit and non-political organization with the sole purpose of delivering rapid and sustainable development to local communities leveraging ICT with a global touch, via knowledge and innovation by partnering public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Innovation and Access for Development Initiative (IADI); a.k.a i-Novate 2100 aims to drive dynamic innovation, knowledge and social enterprise in Nigeria and Africa. It is a non-state and not-for–profit development actor poised to drive Open Standards Initiatives (OSIs), Promote Open Technologies for Development (OT4D), Support Collaboration for Community Development (CCDev) with governments (Both Civil and Traditional authorities), and Implement Capacity Building for Transformation of state and non-state organisations and enterprises (CB4TE), through the Special Development Vehicle (SDV) called i-Novate 2100.
